Happy Birthday Paintersnyc..and I just want to go on record..because most of you may not know this, but Painter, the person, is one of the kindest, most generous and sincere people you will ever meet. And has been instrumental in helping me feel...you can have real friends..family..in the NYC art 'scene'.

Congratulations, Painter!

Thanks for all of your hard work, for introducing me to so many artists, and also to so many art loving commenters.

.. and thank you to all of the regular commenters.. commenting is also hard work maybe.

There is a string of birthdays this month and the next. I'll put another bead on the string, and put a candle on it--Happy Birthday PainterNYC. And best wishes to the person so silent, poised behind, and to all contributors--offering a very lively, sometimes funny, read.

Right! And Lauren Luloff was the first posted artist. Sorry I didn't know that until I checked. She appears on the 7th and then on the 5th a year apart as if time/space/body is being adjusted, just like Kepler has it, though slightly different... still a neat thread. Interesting!! Cheers again-!!

Happy birthday painter! I'm in gradschool, and too inundated with art prattle to spend much time adding my thoughts here lately, but I'm still lurking. Reading and writing on PaintersNYC saved me from certain doom in my mundane dayjob last year, and I'm really glad to see things still going strong today.

Mazeltov!
