i really like this piece - the use of negative space is outstanding & it's a brilliant comment on the vacuity of contemporary society!

if you read the artist statement this work really starts to open up.

I am going to wait to comment until I can see this piece in person.

I just read the statement and am not sure how I feel about this work. It doesn't seem ambitious enough somehow.

dude - why does everyone have to be so negative here? it's not about ambition, it's about nothingness - granted, it's a little derivative of Yves Klein but I know this artist and they're super nice and work really really hard

at least the are working with real content

this artist totally ripped me off. i have been working on work in this vein for 10 years plus!

i am so sick of reductionist/conceptual drivel. it's work for the overeducated elitist masses who just want to exclude everyone not with the "in" crowd.

this blog is pointless.

Exactly anon - it is pointless! what is the point? where is the point? are we immersed in the point or are we waiting for the point like we wait for Godot sitting on our digital park benches feeding pigeons and complaining about our uncomfortable shoes...

I am embarrassed but I have to tell you this is my painting.
Thanks for you kind words and constructive criticism.
This is a new piece. I have a lot of them like this since I have spent the last 4 months watching T.V. and blogging.

painter, careful with the compositional elements. remember: less is more.

i just want you to be a better artist. i say this because I care.

You may enter, painter.
Beautiful.

Congratulations Painter!!! Everyone wants to be in the canon and you got your entry ticket. I am very excited for you. Don't let it go to your head and remember: you can't keep doing the same thing over and over or you'll be kicked out of the canon.
