I am not sure either. I saved this one a while ago and don't remeber anything about it. I will get back to you on it.
I think it looks nice with Chuck Webster too.

It makes me think of Michael Lazarus who shows at Feature. Just had a show recently.

You should curate, painter! Another great piece... Sort of reminds me of Michael Lazarus (in mood more than medium.) I don't know how I miss these shows when I go to chelsea. The show I like the the best on saturday wast he Krasner / Pollock show! Can anyone recommend anything up right now besides Rauchenberg?

On a Matt Blackwell note. He has a great painting at Parker's Box in Williamsburg on Grand St. right now.

I haven't really been around to see much lately but this week. I did go see the Egon Shiele last week and it is great. Wonderful drawings.
It would be fun to curate something some day.

curate shows on your blog. you're kinda already doing it.

That is a good idea W.W. maybe I can do a weekly/monthly thing. Like Edward Winkleman. I am just not that tec savy and all I know how to do is post and write names. I think I would need to change the format for something like that.

i like your no-frills site. just the images, names. that would be it. it would be super refreshing.

I agree, I like your no frills site too. I like to check in daily for a painting hit. Thanks.

the news of your site is slowly spreading painter. I will check the Parker's Box show... thx.

I feel like all you have to do is scroll down and it's a show. The curation is inherent in the posting of the images. Me and my pals FB, PD, Sloth and Corny did some last summer and called them Blart Shows. It's fun. Painter, you are a great addition to the ether.

Do not fear. You will not and cannot disappoint. You are straightforward and helpful. You illuminate.
