  1. i really like this piece - the use of negative space is outstanding & it's a brilliant comment on the vacuity of contemporary society!

  4. I just read the statement and am not sure how I feel about this work. It doesn't seem ambitious enough somehow.

  5. dude - why does everyone have to be so negative here? it's not about ambition, it's about nothingness - granted, it's a little derivative of Yves Klein but I know this artist and they're super nice and work really really hard

  8. i am so sick of reductionist/conceptual drivel. it's work for the overeducated elitist masses who just want to exclude everyone not with the "in" crowd.

  10. Exactly anon - it is pointless! what is the point? where is the point? are we immersed in the point or are we waiting for the point like we wait for Godot sitting on our digital park benches feeding pigeons and complaining about our uncomfortable shoes...

  15. Congratulations Painter!!! Everyone wants to be in the canon and you got your entry ticket. I am very excited for you. Don't let it go to your head and remember: you can't keep doing the same thing over and over or you'll be kicked out of the canon.
